In the first installment of our lunchtime series, we will discuss the documentation needed when you begin your practice and the details that go into that documentation, such as informed consent, billing disclosures (related to the No-Surprise Billing Act), minority consent to psychotherapy, disclosures of qualifications, and other required details. The goal is to help psychologists and other clinicians ensure they are minimizing risk to themselves and fully informing clients of their rights and responsibilities.
This webinar will be geared to Vermont law, where state law applies, but will also discuss general risk management techniques and federal requirements that apply to all states.
