Description

Medication-centered approaches can have limitations for both the person served and the clinician. This course offers a thorough examination of critical psychiatry, emphasizing our therapeutic alliance and navigating common scenarios in longitudinal psychiatric care. Serving to provide practical ideas and applications through an interactive case approach, the participant will exit the session with the agency in finding a collaborative balance in diametric perspectives that avoids paternalism and coercion, and honors dimensions of experience for those we serve.
