Les Spry, MD


Dr. Leslie Spry was born in Lexington, Nebraska and grew up on a farm and graduated from Lomax Country school, Oconto High School, and University of Nebraska, Lincoln. He attended the University of Nebraska School of Medicine in Omaha and completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at University of Nebraska Hospitals. Dr. Spry also completed a research and clinical fellowship in Nephrology at Washington University in St. Louis and was faculty at St. Louis University School of Medicine from 1982 to 1987. He was certified in Critical Care Medicine while on faculty at St. Louis University and came to Lincoln in 1987 where he started Lincoln Nephrology & Hypertension in 1996.  He has been the Medical Director of the Dialysis Center of Lincoln since 1987. Dr. Spry is the past President of the Nebraska Medical Association and an active volunteer and blogger with the National Kidney Foundation. He remains active in the American Society of Nephrology and the National Kidney Foundation.
