Needs Assessment
Healthcare is ever changing, and it can be challenging to remain up to date. Physicians must continue to educate themselves on disease processes and treatments to deliver high quality healthcare to their patients. “Back to School” highlights the need to continue to learn and will focus on up-dates and recommendations for common conditions encountered in healthcare.
Program Objective
At the completion of this seminar, attendees will have a better understanding of multiple disease processes and preventive measures to serve their patients and communities better.
1 in 4 patients presenting to the primary care physician’s office will have a dermatologic question. Dermatologists have notoriously long wait lists, so educating PCPs on recognition and diagnoses of the most common dermatologic conditions will expedite patient care and improve their quality of life.
Physicians and medical professionals will review new guidelines for lung CA screening in addition to new guidelines for initial management of asthma and new guidelines for initial management of COPD.
This lecture will help physicians learn how to identify different types of adverse food reactions and recognize food allergies and how they negatively impact children. Dr. Warrier will discuss the appropriate use of testing for food allergy diagnosis and specify the best times to refer patients for specialty care.
Dr. Bragg will discuss the pathology and the change of the Clostridioides Difficile (CD) organism in the past ten years. He will discuss when to suspect, diagnose, and treat CD. He will elaborate on medications used to tread CD and also discuss possible complications patients might face.
