Description

Dr Helfand will present the pillars of Communication & Insight Therapy (CIT) and detail how this structured approach allows clinicians to help couples increase their emotional and sexual connection while also enhancing the emotional intelligence of the marriage. The presentation will also help providers reflect on their own in-session process with couples.

Completion of this course earns 6 continuing education credits.  Psychologists licensed in states whose licensing board approves continuing education offered by APA-approved sponsors may earn continuing education credits for this course.

Courses sponsored by the Vermont Psychological Association are pre-approved for continuing education for psychologists by the Vermont Board of Psychological Examiners.  This course qualifies for 6 continuing education credits.

VT LICSW

Dr. Helfand is a licensed psychologist with a specialty in couples therapy. After graduating from William James College in 2015, he continued his career in neurofeedback while beginning to explore interests in marriage and family therapies. His approach is now informed by his clinical background as a psychologist and his training in neuroscience.
