Description

This course is designed to provide psychologists and other mental health professionals with the knowledge and skills necessary to understand the psychosocial aspects of the planetary health crisis, as well as to recognize and address the growing mental health impacts in clinical practice from eco-anxiety and other varied forms of eco-distress.

Regenerative Psychotherapy


Merritt Juliano is a psychotherapist in private practice in Westport, Connecticut, specializing in issues such as climate distress, women's issues,  and grief and loss. Prior to attending graduate school to obtain her MSW, Merritt was a practicing attorney and mediator.

Merritt served as the first co-president of Climate Psychology Alliance North America, and was a member of the American Psychologist Association's Task Force on Climate Change.
