Description

This presentation is designed to cover the updated McKeith criteria in diagnosing DLB. The presentation will also cover neuropsychological aspects of DLB as well as pharmacological and nonpharmacological interventions that have been found helpful in treating symptoms of the disease.

Intermediate: Assumes post-doctoral education status and general familiarity with topic.

Objectives:

1.  Recognize the core features of DLB in clinical populations that you may be seeing in your practice.
2.  Realize the empirical basis of current treatments of the disease as you refer these patients to colleagues in allied healthcare professions.

Jordan Robinson, Ph.D., LP Related Seminars and Products


Jordan Robinson, Ph.D., LP, ABPP-CN, is a clinical neuropsychologist who primarily works in neuropsychological assessment. He is also the incoming President-Elect of MPA. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, and later completed internship and postdoctoral training in Neuropsychology from the Milwaukee VA and a joint program between the Baylor College of Medicine/Houston VA. He has worked within VA hospitals, non-profit healthcare systems, and in private practice.  In addition to clinical practice, he has remained involved in clinical research with former and current colleagues.
